Local Artist Kaye Furlong was inspired by the grandeur of our ocean and the works of American Artist James McNeill Whistler (1834-1903) who felt that lines were the most important element of art and painting. Children will create a seascape, likely a familiar site for children in our community. They will learn about pen and ink shading and pastel enhancement. Children will learn about background, foreground, contour lines, panorama, perspective in this seascape piece.
